The Bible is the craftsmanship of middle-eastern culture of several thousand years. No one can tell me it’s without mistakes, because it wasn’t written for the purpose of being right. The Bible was written to preserve cultural values and traditions, not worship Jesus. The gospel writers did have a strong affection for Jesus life and called him the “Son of God”, “Savior” and “Messiah”. I think of Jesus like the ancient version of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
