Just think about what Jesus did just after the resurrection. His disciples, consumed with fear, had locked themselves in a room. They had betrayed Him, abandoned Him during His trial and execution. Yet Jesus never rebuked them. He was not angry. He just came to them and said, “Peace be with you.” It’s a forgiveness that comes from His total love. He loves us like that. And He forgives us like that. It’s such an awesome thing to know about our God.
